Our practice is in Garsfontein, eastern Pretoria. Easy access from Lynnwood, Faerie Glen, Wapadrand, Centurion, and the N1.
Dr Hanlie sees a maximum of six new patients per week to ensure every consultation gets the time it deserves. The R350 deposit reserves your slot and demonstrates your commitment to attending. The vast majority of our patients tell us they appreciate the deposit policy — it means slots aren't taken by people who don't show up, and Dr Hanlie's time is respected. The deposit credits directly against your R1,350 consultation fee, so you're not paying anything extra.
Reschedule freely up to 24 hours before your appointment. Your deposit moves with you to the new slot. Inside the 24-hour window, the deposit is forfeit and you'll need to pay a new deposit to rebook. WhatsApp us on 061 581 4804 to reschedule — it takes a minute.
It happens occasionally. Sometimes a patient comes in and Dr Hanlie determines that a GLP-1 protocol isn't clinically right for them — for medical reasons, or because there's a simpler approach that should be tried first. If that's the case, you've still received a comprehensive 45-minute medical consultation, you'll leave with a clear understanding of what would be appropriate, and you may receive a referral. Either way, the consultation has value. We never charge for services we can't ethically provide.
No. The Founders' Consultation is a no-pressure conversation. You leave with a clear protocol recommendation, an honest cost breakdown, and the time you need to decide. Most patients commit within a week, but you're under no obligation. Dr Hanlie's job in the consultation is to give you the medical clarity you need to make an informed decision — not to sell you a programme on the day.
Card payment on arrival is the easiest option. We accept all major South African debit and credit cards. EFT and cash are also accepted. The R350 deposit you pay now goes through Paystack — South Africa's most trusted online payment processor.
It's optional but strongly recommended. The 5-minute online assessment helps Dr Hanlie prepare for your consultation — she'll have your basic clinical picture before you arrive, which means more of your 45 minutes is spent on the meaningful conversation rather than gathering information. If you'd prefer to take the assessment first, you can do that here — it takes about 5 minutes.
